The customized products have been manufactured by Fuchs since 1830. The oldest company in the industry, which is still family-owned, is characterized by the highest quality standards, its own design and development department, as well as modern and automated production combined with traditional manual work.
Cutter knives and other knives for the food industry are individually designed and manufactured according to customer requirements - 100% Made in Germany. The Fuchs knives are characterized by a long service life, thanks to the high-quality knife steels used. At the same time, a cost-effective production of the knives is guaranteed.
History
The company has been producing the genuine Fuchs cutting tools since 1830. They were later protected by the Imperial Patent Office under the trademark "Columbus".
The move in 1933, from Cannstatt to Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen brings with it an expansion of the production area and the product portfolio. In addition to cutting tools for butchers, axes, hatchets, adzes, drawknives, cleavers, cradle knives, hedge shears, cleavers and machine knives were produced.
With the development of stainless steel, new possibilities opened up. 1950 sees the start of production of cutter knives for the Emil Jauslin company in Zurich. Knives for agricultural machinery also enrich the product range.
Modern technologies move in with giant strides at J.F. Fuchs: First in the form of a CNC special grinding machine, followed by innovative CNC and automation technology. CAD opens up new perspectives in development and production. The high level of Fuchs cutter knives is constantly monitored in the modern quality control department.
Today, the production program includes high-quality cutter knives, traction sheaves, machine knives, long knives, filler pieces and many more.
SCT Fuchs GmbH
Since 01.01.2022 the J. F. Fuchs GmbH operates under the name SCT Fuchs GmbH.
The move to the new location in Aalen will begin in February 2023. Modern, automated production and additional manufacuring space will enable further growth.
